In Sun Valley. It was a beautiful day. I'm not smiling not because I didn't love it -- I did! -- but my mouth was banged up from a fall. You can still see some blood on my beard if you look closely enough. But it was just an awesome day for a bike ride through the mountains.
Went on a very "technical" single-track mountain bike ride in Sun
Valley. Absolutely beautiful. And I got a real close up look at the
surroundings when I lost balance and fell off the trail. I leaned left
and had nowhere to put my left foot and so had to basically swan dive
head frirst into those bushes on the lower left, about 10 feet below.
Fortunately I escaped with only a fat lip, a small gash on the chin,
and some other various and sundry cuts and bruises. Thanks to Chad and
Mike (pictured, pointing to where I landed) for helping me back up and
back on the trail.
Man, Twitter is EVERYWHERE. I saw this at a CHURCH.
